Food is Medicine in Clinical Care (Educational Hill Briefing with breakfast provided)
Please join the Healthcare Nutrition Council (HNC) with support from the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and the National PKU Alliance for a bipartisan educational briefing on the role of oral nutrition supplements (ONS) and medical foods in clinical care, and why ONS should be recognized in food is medicine legislation.
This event will feature clinical and policy experts and patient advocates who rely on these specialized nutrition products for survival and recovery. Policymakers and staff will gain a better understanding of the patient need for these products and the importance of policies that protect access.
