About this Event

Food is Community | A Gala & Network Celebration

Join us during Pittsburgh Restaurant Week for an Official Jacques Pepin Foundation 90/90 Birthday Celebration.

This fundraiser will support Community Kitchen Pittsburgh and Catalyst Kitchens.

This will be an unforgettable evening where food brings us together, community lifts us up, and culinary excellence takes center stage.

Featuring six extraordinary chefs from Pittsburgh and beyond, this special event will showcase locally-sourced ingredients, regional producers, and the power of food to connect, transform, and inspire.

All proceeds benefit Community Kitchen Pittsburgh, a nonprofit that helps individuals overcome barriers to employment and obtain quality employment in the culinary industry through training and job placement support. The event also supports Catalyst Kitchens, a national network of transformative culinary training programs that we're proud to be a member of.

We are honored to be joined by the Jacques Pépin Foundation in celebrating the legendary Chef Jacques’s 90th birthday, as part of the Official Nationwide 90/90 Dinner Series.

This is more than a gala — it’s a tribute to the chefs who inspire us, the communities that support us, and the belief that FOOD IS COMMUNITY.

In addition to the food, you'll:

  • Hear from member staff, graduates, special guest chefs, and friends at the Jacques Pepin Foundation, as we celebrate being part of the 90/90 series with JPF.
  • Enjoy a Live Feed featuring Chef Jacques speaking to attendees
  • A screening of a 15-minute documentary about Catalyst Kitchens’ work, featuring programs from around the country.
  • Enjoy Live music
