Are you part of a voluntary or community group supporting families and individuals facing food poverty in the Bray area? If so, Bray & North Wicklow Area Partnership (BNWAP) invite you to come along to this important community event taking place at the Little Flower Hall just off the main street in Bray on Wednesday, 5th February, from 9:30 to 11:30am.This event aims to bring together voluntary groups and community organisations to collaborate, share information and discuss key challenges related to household food struggles in the Bray area. It will provide a valuable opportunity for networking and fostering stronger connections among those working to support individuals and families in need.
Key topics to be addressed include:
• The impact of the cost of living crisis on food poverty
• Overcoming the stigma associated with accessing food support services
• Enhancing coordination and communication among local organisations
• Improving the quality and suitability of emergency food provision
This event is part of BNWAP’s ongoing series of Food Poverty think tanks taking place across County Wicklow in each of the Municipal Districts. Building on the success of a very productive event in Arklow last October, with attendees sharing valuable insights and exploring collaborative solutions, BNWAP are eager to continue the momentum in Bray.
Everyone is welcome! Tea, coffee, refreshments and snacks will be available.
The Little Flower Hall is located beside the Holy Redeemer Church on Main Street, Bray, A98WK355, with ample parking available in the church car park. For more information, contact: Aisling Kirwan, email: [email protected]
