About this Event

This three-part program series explores the deep connection between food, culture, and personal memory. Each session features a unique theme, a cooking demo, and creative writing prompts to help participants explore their own food stories. Participation in each session is not required but is welcome.

Theme: The Taste of Travel

Food is a powerful way to experience a new culture. This session focuses on how shared meals and local ingredients teach us about a place and its people. We'll discuss how food acts as a universal language, allowing us to connect with others even when we don't speak the same language. We'll explore how dishes evolve as they travel and are adapted by different cultures.

Seating is first come, first served.

You may register to receive reminders(optional).

Session 1: Northside Library - Saturday, Nov. 1 from 1-3 p.m.

Session 3: Central Park Library - Saturday, Jan. 16 from 1-3 p.m.
