π₯«π Food insecurity is real β and itβs happening right here in our community.Over 100,000 Hamilton County neighbors, including more than 40,000 children, are losing critical SNAP food support. Thatβs a $19 million monthly loss in local food assistance β a gap our community is already feeling.
At the Y, weβre committed to helping fill those gaps and supporting families who need it most.
In partnership with IPM Food Pantry, Church of the Resurrection and the YMCA, we will hosting a Food Assistance Pop-Up on Wednesday, November 19, 4:00-7:00pm at the M.E. Lyons YMCA. The first 200 families will receive at bag of food and protein to help lighten the burden of food insecurity.
Hereβs how you can make a difference:
π Fill our Blessing Box and the food tub inside the YMCA with shelf-stable items to help local families.
π Donate β every contribution helps us continue to stock and support those in need. - https://give.myy.org/campaign/711757/donate
π Share this message to spread awareness β there are Blessing Boxes throughout our community that rely on neighbors like you.
π Support our Food Assistance Pop-Up on November 19 β volunteer, donate, or help us put food on the table for families this season.
Together, we can ensure no neighbor goes hungry. π«Ά
