Join us for the 2025 edition of the FOOBS Trail & Fun Runs, taking place on Sunday 12th October 2025 in Old Basing, Basingstoke.Our annual 10K and 6K Trail Runs and our 2K Family Fun Run in support of F.O.O.B.S. will be held at Old Basing and Lychpit Recreation Ground.
Finishers will receive a high quality medal and there will be treats at the finish line for all. Prizes will be handed out for 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed male and female in both races, as well as top 3 Junior male & females places in the 6K race.
NEW FOR 2025 - We are introducing chip timing to give you peace of mind on times, results and podium places. We have also increased entries for 2025 to avoid any disappointment.
Cakes, hot and cold drinks, plus a BBQ will be available (weather permitting). The Recreation Ground also has a playground to keep younger children entertained between races.
Whether you are a regular runner, a fun runner or perhaps you've just got back into running and would like to try something different, then please do join us.
The event is organised by the F.O.O.B.S. Run Team and raises money for Friends of Old Basing Schools. The money generated from this event enables the local schools to provide extra resources and fun initiatives not covered by the current government funding.
