Fronted by legendary rocker Dave Grohl, the Foo Fighters has proven to be one of the most enduring alternative rock bands of modern times, from its first single, “This Is a Call,” through later hits like “Bridge Burning.” Since Grohl formed the Foo Fighters, consisting of members Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, out of the ashes of Nirvana in 1994, the Grammy Award-winning outfit has produced numerous alt-rock chart-topping songs, including 1999’s “Learn to Fly,” 2005’s “Best of You,” and 2007’s “The Pretender.” After decades of accolades and success, Foo Fighters were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.
