FOMOA Members: Please join us the the FOMOA Annual Meeting on September 22nd from 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Gaither Auditorium.The meeting will be held at 5:30 pm followed by guest speaker, Jon Stull, for a special discussion at 6 pm: "𝓟𝓲𝓮𝓬𝓮𝓼, 𝓟𝓵𝓪𝓬𝓮𝓼, 𝓟𝓪𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼 & 𝓟𝓮𝓸𝓹𝓵𝓮: 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓥𝓪𝓵𝓾𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓡𝓮𝓶𝓮𝓶𝓫𝓻𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮."
Museums, organizatons, and families have long held pieces of history (or artifacts) along with papers, maps, and names of places where they were found and the stories of people who found, carried, or owned them. Join us for a discussion on the importance of the often overlooked value of collecting these stories, caring for these artifacts, and repeating the names.
