The Geographical Society of Philadelphia invites you to share in a conversation about food and cultural identity with Kae Lani Palmisano on Thursday, October 28, at the Plays and Players Theater at 1714Delancey Place at 6:30 pm.
There will be a cash bar and the formal program will go for about an hour.
Kae Lani Palmisano is an Emmy Award-Winning television host, food and travel writer who is passionate about food and all the ways that food expresses cultural identity. She has lived most of her life in the Philadelphia area and hosts #WHYY’s Check, Please! Philly, which showcases Philadelphia’s favorite restaurants.
Inspired by her multicultural, biracial background and extensive travels, she understands how food can be a form of cultural exchange.
We will be meeting at the Plays and Players Theater, which is one of the oldest theaters in America in an
intimate and private space.
