One Ticket, Double The Impact

What is the Big Give Christmas Challenge? For one week (29th November at noon - 6th December at midnight), all donations to City Harvest will be doubled through The Big Give match funding programme. Donations will enable City Harvest to keep vans on the roads, supporting 350+ charities and redistributing food surplus to feed hungry people this winter. With the reduction in donations this winter, 1 in 4 children do not know if they will get a meal this Christmas, so donations are more important than ever. All ticket sales for this event will be donated to The City Harvest Big Give Christmas Challenge to be doubled.

Your £10 donation becomes £20, which provides 80 healthy meals to London children.

Who are City Harvest London?

800,000 children face food poverty UK-wide, half of those reside in London where a staggering 1 in 4 can't afford to eat. With the cost-of-living crisis forcing more families to choose between heating or eating this winter, this statistic is set to worsen. Behind the statistics are the very real children and their families who struggle just to survive, facing constant anxiety about where their next meal is coming from. Many already experience crisis every single day.

City Harvest London exists to help these people and strongly supports the Food Foundation's 'Feed the Future' campaign, ensuring more children can access vital free school meals. The food charity rescues nutritious surplus food and delivers it to more than 375 charities across the capital, including soup kitchens, refuges, family centres and, increasingly, school food banks.
