Join us for a festive celebration of the legacy of Vaclav Havel, Czech and Slovak communities’ presence in New York, and the 10th anniversary of the Havel Foundation!
The evening’s highlights will include a tribute to the renowned Czech-American author and illustrator of children’s books Peter Sís, as well as a presentation of the annual Disturbing the Peace Award to a Courageous Writer at Risk, excerpts from books by Peter Sís and dissident writers, memories of Peter’s DJ’s past, unique live auction, and more.
