**Cerridwen Kennedy** will share a collection of her own contemporary poetry, centered on growing up in a neo-pagan household and her relationship with spirituality as an adult.Cerridwen is a poet and aspiring author. She spent the majority of her childhood in libraries, reading just about anything she could get her hands on. As an adult, not much has changed. She spends a lot of time between stacks of books, exploring new worlds, and learning from other perspectives. Writing and telling stories is something she holds near and dear to her heart.
**Jennifer Lynn Christie** will read a retelling of the French fairy tale, “The White Cat” written by Marjorie Sandor. Following her reading, Jennifer will share her perspective on why fairy tales are potent and fun vessels of modern storytelling. Questions and conversation encouraged!
Jennifer's short stories have appeared in The Georgia Review, PANK, Atticus Review, and elsewhere. She has written book reviews for the Denver Quarterly, Entropy, Newfound, and Full Stop, and for two years she served as the Assistant Small Press Editor for Entropy.
She has recently completed her first novel and is seeking representation.
