Visitors can enjoy a celebration of the rich, rural heritage of South Georgia during the annual Folklife Festival on April 5th at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College's Georgia Museum of Agriculture. Showcasing South Georgia’s history and culture, the event runs from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with interactive activities for both children and adults.Join us for the ceremonial firing of our turpentine still at 11 AM, then stop by our Drug Store for a tasty lunch and find a great spot to enjoy the Antique Tractor Parade. Experience a full day packed with engaging demonstrations including sawmill operations, blacksmithing, tatting, fiber arts, mule plowing, and pine needle basket making.
