Stockport, are you ready to eat, drink and dance?Our Folk Foodie Friday is the launch event for the National Day of Dance when no less than one thousand morris dancers will descend upon the town on Saturday 26th April!!
At Folk Foodie Friday, don't miss performances from Adlington Morris, Poynton Jemmers and Roots Morris dancing in the Market Place and great folk performers playing in the Market Hall.
Our Folk line-up is as follows;
6.30pm Dave Grimley
6.40pm Julian Homer
7.00pm Stockport Ukrainian Community Folk Singers & Dancers
7.30pm Bolt & Geoghegan Folk Duo
8.00pm Honey I Shrunk The Band
We now have our biggest line-up of 24 street food traders who are all at the top of their game so it's a great opportunity to come and try something different.
We are grateful to our headline sponsors CDL Software and Robinsons Brewery and our supporting venues Bakers Vaults, Angel Inn, Thread, Calvert's Court, The Cocked Hat, Cherry Jam, The Good Rebel and Highballer for working with us to make this event the best it can be.
