Get festive with these hand painted Christmas Scandinavian design Christmas ornaments. You will start the day with coffee and a short introduction to the workshop, and the tools you will be using. This will be followed by a demonstration from the tutor of each of the brush strokes needed to complete the designs.
You will then spend some time with the use of pre-printed designs practising your newly learned brush strokes. You will then be guided through each design step by step with the tutor to complete A hand cast art plaster gonk/gnome, and two wooden Christmas baubles.
This workshop is beginner friendly, so no previous knowledge of folk art painting is necessary. However, this workshop is considered a next step if you have already completed the 'introduction To Folk Art Painting' workshop. The workshop aims to provide a fun, festive relaxed way to learn the basic techniques of folk art painting.
Materials included
• Practice paper
• Wooden baubles and plaster gonk/gnome
• paint
• All tools/brushes loaned for use on the day
• Tea, coffee and biscuits (please bring a packed lunch)
