The museum's education team will teach the process of paper quilling. Paper quilling is an art form that involves rolling, twisting, and gluing thin strips of paper into shapes to create decorative designs. The name comes from the idea that people would tightly wrap paper around a quill pen to create the coils. For each class, participants will be provided with the supplies necessary, a packet of information, and personal instructions to complete a folk arts project from start to finish. At the end, each participant will be able to take their project home.
Participants must register by the Friday prior to the class they wish to join. Visit our website for registration forms and more information. https://www.msagmuseum.org/education/
