Fold: art book + zine exhibition
stop-gap projects presents Fold: an art book and zine show featuring over 60 bookmakers working at the intersection of art and text. This exhibition/community library highlights the incredible range of publishing happening in the Midwest, while also making connections to national and international practices and projects.
The opening, on Friday, April 4th (from 6-9pm) will feature a special installation and pop-shop from astr (astringent) press, a KC-based zine/chapbook/artist's book publisher.
The reading, on Thursday, April 17th (from 9-10pm) will feature Caylin Capra-Thomas, Chloe Chun Seim, and Jennifer Maritza McCauley, and hosted by Jared McCormack. Part of the Unbound Book Festival LitCrawl.
The art book fair, on Saturday, April 19th (from 12-6pm) will have books and zines from local and regional artists and writers available for purchase.
