Focused first aid for pets @ Pakenham Library

This session focuses on equipping participants with essential first aid skills tailored to common emergencies that can occur in everyday life. It will cover the key principles of first aid, including assessment of safety, appropriate responses, and basic first aid techniques through demonstrations and discussions. Participants will also learn the importance of staying calm under pressure, prioritizing care, understanding when to seek professional medical help, and which professional organisation is best placed to help in different scenarios. This session is designed to build confidence and empower individuals to take appropriate action in emergencies, providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to help their pets when they need it most.
