Did you know that forward head position due to work environment and mental concentration can contribute to increasing the load of stress on the neck and shoulder?When the head is properly aligned, the weight of the head is properly distributed on the cervical spine. Slumped posture can negatively affect walking, balance, can lead to restricted breathing, and a decline in memory. Forward head position can also reduce the rate at which a person can perform mental tasks involving physical movement such as writing or typing and their reaction speed to sensory stimuli.
This class series will focus on practical methods for reducing tension, alleviating stiffness, and minimizing the effects of stress in the neck and shoulders.
