About this Event
We’re trying something new for the Refresh DC community — a relaxed, structured coworking session we’re calling Focus Flow. This is a small pilot to see whether coworking meetups are something our community wants more of.
The idea is simple: give people intentional, protected time to get things done — work, job searching, reading, creative projects, learning, anything.
You’ll be surrounded by others who are also heads down and making progress. No pressure, no performance — just a motivating, quiet environment with a little bit of structure to help you stay on track.
What to expect
🎯 Set your intentions or goals
Privately or aloud, decide what you want to accomplish during the session.
🍅 Guided focus blocks
We’ll use longer focus periods with breaks in between. Some sessions may experiment with Pomodoro-style intervals; others might be more flexible.
👋🏼 Supportive group energy
You’re working individually, but not alone. The accountability comes from simply being around others who are focused too.

We aren't officially reserving space at a.cafe, so seat availability is on a first come, first served basis. Purchasing a drink or snack from the cafe is encouraged.
