Opera UCT and the Friends of Opera in Cape Town (FoCTO) present the finals of the annual FoCTO Bursary Competition for young South African singers. The FoCTO bursary was established in 2018, under the leadership of the late George Stevens. The Friends of Opera in Cape Town continueto offer financial support for talented young singers, both while at Opera UCT and as they venture onto the next step of their careers, very often overseas.
