About this Event
March 18 is a workday, we'll be meeting at Bok Tower Gardens and working nearby with the Conservation biologists 8AM to noon. Volunteers will receive free entry to the gardens that morning. The work will involve some people hand-pulling natal grass, and others using loppers to cut small oak overgrowth, which will then be immediately herbicide-treated by Bok staff, and to remove vine overgrowth. RSVPs for this are required, please reserve you spot below. Folks can bring their own gloves, a hat, water and sunscreen for themselves, and their favorite tool if they’d like. We will supply light snacks and some tools. Everyone will also need to sign a liability waiver.
