AltaCal and the Orland Free Library invite you to a documentaryscreening of the 2024 PBS Flyways documentary on Thursday,
November 14 at 5:30 p.m.
This documentary highlights shorebirds and their incredible
migrations!
Just two days later—Saturday November 16th—AltaCal is hosting
a field trip to the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge near
Willows for a fun-filled day looking for winter migratory birds
such as shorebirds and waterfowl. All birders and nature lovers
are welcome!

and largely unknown migratory routes called Flyways. Follow
a conservation movement of bird-loving experts and citizen
scientists as they mobilize to the challenge of understanding and
