I'm excited to birth the 'Flying Carpet' to Copenhagen, after I've found it in Morocco last year. It's less materialistic but rather a space of ✨BEING✨, and less doing, especially for us women. In a society that sometimes feels like a box to fit into 📦 or masks to put on 🎭, this space invites you to move beyond this mundane reality and reconnect with your wild, adventurous side🧞♀️. And what better way is there to do that, than gathering together, and move our bodies through dance and music that moves us. Join us in this co-created space of ✨BEING✨ to express yourself authentically, sensually and to receive by filling your own cup.This journey starts first by welcoming you on the grounded carpet, where we gather, sip mint tea 🫖🌿 and check-in together with the other women to set the space for your dance journey ahead. Once, we are all on the 'same carpet', in regards to guidelines, we're ready to take off on the flying carpet. A mystical journey supported by a specially curated DJ set 🎧, where you're invited to dance freely and express your true self from wild, soft, energetic, edgy, mindful, calm, you name it! 1,5 hour later, we'll be landing softly back in the sceneric halls of Kuppelsalen and bring this journey to a finish.
💡 What is Ecstatic Dance
Ecstatic Dance is a free-form dance movement inviting your body to move freely. You are invited to move, play, connect, sweat, breath, stretch, sound, unwind, renew, release, improvise, transform. Be true to yourself and express yourself authentically, while respecting you & others, in this space we co-create together. Move your body, unleash your wild dancing self without caring what people think, claim your freedom, open your heart & fly into the infinite.

Leonie is a multi-passionate creator, DJ & Mentor, dedicated to live your authentic self through creative expression. Her music vibe is like jumping onto a flying carpet and going on a mystical journey. She dances her way through life and guides others into their bodies through sensual and energizing mixes, that spark the soul. She found her passion for DJing after a deep journey into the Sahara desert, weaving together mystical sounds from Afro, Arabic, Melodic, Deep House and other surprising genres. Music is her love language that invites her dancers to bring in their own unique flavor and above all, celebrating unity.
