About this Event
Learn how to tie your own flies in this informative, hands-on two-hour session at the Museum. Learn what equipment you need to get started in this unique and valuable hobby. All materials will be provided, however, if you have your own fly-tying equipment but aren’t sure where to start, feel free to bring it with you. Walk away with a couple flies and a new case to house them.
Recommended for children ages 12+. Children 12 -15 must purchase a ticket and be accompanied by a paid adult.
Participants will meet at the Museum at Van Hoosen Farm. Please arrive on time as program content starts promptly. As a courtesy to wildlife and other participants, please leave your pets at home. Content such as changes/maps will be sent via email leading up to the program. Pre-registration is required.
