This production by Ms. Latrice Young, a.k.a. “Distinctly Unique” is an intergenerational* choreopoem.**
Audience members can experience a one-night-only staged reading of "Fly Blackbird Fly/Voices We Can't Unhear".
The reading will be filed followed by a short 15-minute Post-Show Discussion.
Tickets are pay-what-you-can. $10 donation suggested.
Several women recount significant experiences with poetry, movement, song, music, and dramatic expression. As they attempt to go from trauma to triumph, they learn that their healing journey can only begin if they and the audience relax, relate, and release.
