We're headed back to Durham, NC! Get ready to unleash your creativity at the 3rd Annual Fluid Art and Abstract Retreat (FAAR). Together we will dive into the world of fluid art and abstract painting where we will relax and create memories of a lifetime.
Are you ready for the ULTIMATE retreat where creatvity meets self-care, and inspiration knows no bounds. This retreat is about more than painting - it's about you! Our theme, "Treat Yourself, You Deserve It" is an invitation to a sacred 3 days where we pour art and love as the catalyst for self-discovery, empowerment, and renewal.
As we sharpen our skills and explore together, this is the time we let go of doubt, embrace our potential, and remind ourselves that we are capable of creating not just on a canvas, but in life!

Yes, this is all included in your general admission ticket! The deluxe admission tickets get you tons of extras including leftover supplies, more swag, and of course another surprise! Previous attendees will tell you my team and I give you all that we have. You will get your monies worth!
Indulge in fun, relaxation and surprises everyday (yes you read it correct)! Stay local at our retreat host site or at an area hotel of your choice. Nearby hotel options provided below. All bedrooms are private with semi-private bathrooms (shared with one guest). There is no connecting door to other rooms in any bedroom.
With any additional time in our one-on-one slots we can explore other techniques together. I have strategically placed our classes so that they build on each other. All classes are interactive where I instruct, Q&A, and demostrate, then turn you loose (with assistance as you desire/ need it). Ultimately you decide which activites you want to participate in to make the experience you want.
As a Senior Corporate Trainer for a large organization by day, you can expect high energy from me all weekend long. Learning should be fun and inclusive! Official FAAR Kickoff : Meet and Greet unWINE Mixer
Come in comfy clothes to relax and unwine... We kick off the surprises early! We will pamper you a bit (more details in welcome email). Nibbles and unlimited wine and drinks (you must drink responsibly) will be available. Get to know other artists from around the world! This time will be filled with a few activities and opportunity for Garrick to talk with artists individually about their goals, learning desires for the weekend (optional).
Friday starts 9:00am
