We're thrilled to announce that Dresden Blue will be teaching another class at FlowShop!
This time, catch her teaching Double Staff: Toroidal T-Tech Tetris.
Don't let the technical name intimidate you - this class is great for beginners and will start with and build upon some foundational concepts for double staff spinners of all skill levels.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Double Staff Toroidal T-Tech Tetris
This class starts with a simple two-dimensional paradigm with “T” and “X” based patterns that can be formed in same, split, and quarter time. These patterns can then be tucked into the body to form a wide variety of ortha=ogonal body tracers. These patterns will then be extended into the third dimension.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dresden Blue is an artist based out of the Vulcan in Oakland, CA. She fuses martial arts, dance, and circus into a unique and distinctive style, bringing in elements as varied as tai chi, tango, and modern dance. Since 2009 she has been teaching and performs with rope dart, swords, contact staff, dragon staff, double staff, fans, and other props across the country.
**Some extra props available - if you have extras to loan for the class, please bring them!
**Workshops are on a sliding scale/pay-what-you-can basis, $10-35 suggested. No one turned away for lack of funds!

**What should I expect at FlowShop?
Friendly faces and welcoming spaces. Open jams are an unstructured time to come together and practice flow arts while building connections and community. Many love teaching! All props, skill levels and movement modalities are encouraged and welcome!
Don't have a prop of your own? We've always got extra to share.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
** Parking:
There is parking available in the park, but some summer nights can be crowded. Street parking is available nearby, parking on 15th Ave. E. puts you closest to us.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
** Accessibility:
There are ADA parking spots in the park and an ADA restroom available about 400 feet from where the workshop is located. The workshop will take place on on a slight slope and is grassy.
