About this Event
The first brave blooms of late winter make everyone happy! Daffodils are the best-known blooming bulbs, but there are many other early blooming bulbs that grow well in our area. VCE Master Gardener Mitzi Balma tells us all about them to help you plan for a colorful spring garden with bulbs.
Note that WBG-FPA Members Priority Registration is open until 9 am August 13th, at which time registration opens to non-members. Seating is limited to 48, so if your plans change after you register, please let us know so we can open your seat to the waiting list.
Learn and Grow programs are free, but we suggest a donation at the door of $5 per person to help fund the Garden's annual expenses of over $20,000. Remember... we receive no funding from any government agency, so we depend on your generosity.
NOTE: Your registration for this program will add your email address to the WBG-FPA eNews list if you're not on it already. We usually send emails 1 or 2 times a month to let you know about upcoming programs and other Garden news.
The WBG's privacy policy is simple: We never share your information with any third party for any reason. You may opt out at any time. Our eNews is sent through Constant Contact. NOTE: if you unsubscribe, you will remove yourself from all emails sent by the WBG-FPA.
In-person Learn and Grow seminar programs are held at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center. If you have never been to Freedom Park, be sure to visit the Garden! See the map below for directions and parking notes.
