Expect a warm welcome at Oliver's with coffee, then relax into playful mark-making, colour explorations, and intuitive composition to create a unique, personal artwork. Beginners are welcome, and all materials are provided.
Whether you're familiar with acrylic paint or not, this will be an opportunity to try new techniques and processes, leaving with a painted canvas to be proud of!

This painting was created by a beginner, with no prior art knowledge or background in painting. The floral display was the inspiration and starting point. It was completed within a 2- hour session earlier this year.

Our workshop at Oliver's will feature a unique display of interesting blooms for each table.

We'll use acrylic paint on a canvas size of your choice. Paints, brushes and drawing materials are provided.

Info: Arrive 10 mins early for coffee and find your spot. Marion will introduce what to expect and will give a brief overview of the materials and processes used in her own art practice. Choose from 2 sizes of canvas and pick your colours. To warm up, playful mark-making with a variety of tools. A fun, drawing exercise will follow with guidance on capturing what we see.
