Ring in the Spring with us at Flower Fest 2024! Flower Fest is a fundraising event put on by Mancos Valley Dragonfly School, our Four Corners region's only Waldorf inspired early childhood learning center. There will be locally sourced food & drink, live music, a silent and live auction, dancing, & more!
Some of our event Vendors include: The Lost Boys String Band, M Bar, Global Kitchen Eatery, with many more TBA.
Come dressed in your grooviest-woodstock-flower child attire for a chance at a prize!

What is this fundraiser benefitting?
Our little school is private, so aside from tuition our families pay we rely heavily on fundraising and grants. Flower Fest provides an opportunity for outreach to potential families, as well as a great way to connect with our local community and let people know what we're all about. Fundraising dollars goes towards improving accessibility to our local families, as well as helping with operating costs.
Can you tell me about your school?
Dragonfly School sits amongst rolling green farm lands and old growth oaks—a magical setting for play and outdoor exploration. Children eat local, organic, and wholesome food for morning and afternoon snacks, prepared by teachers with the children’s help!
Our high quality, trained Teachers believe the purpose of education in the early years is to open a person up to all of life’s wonders.
Children thrive at Dragonfly with a curriculum that supports the whole child–schooling the head, the hands, and the heart. Through play, the children learn early socialization, conflict resolution, and much more. They also learn to bake bread, make soup together, tidy up, and do simple chores in what we call purposeful work. The Dragonfly teachers create space for the children’s imaginations to flourish through play, which encourages brain development pathways for creativity, perseverance, problem-solving, and attention span that will last their lifetime.
