Flower Arrangement Workshop - Gateshead Festival of Compassion
Join Lucy Gibbs from Blooming Brave for an hour of getting creative with flowers, learning a new skill, and making a beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers to give to a loved one, friend or colleague who is dying, or bereaved. You'll find a warm welcome and a fun time with full instruction and all flowers and materials provided.
The Gateshead Festival of Compassion will highlight a month of varied activities from mid-February 2026 around the theme of expressing love to people who are dying, caring for someone with a terminal illness or grieving. The aim is to raise awareness of support that is available or events that may educate, challenge stigma, provide support in creative and accessible ways.
