About this Event
If you've ever looked at a beautiful floral centrepiece and wanted to recreate it yourself, this flower design class in San Mateo is what you need. After this class, you'll be able to bring gorgeous DIY arrangements into your home and gift homemade bouquets to your loved ones.
In this workshop, you will learn lots from our Experienced Instructors florist tips & tricks and everything you need to know about floral arrangements starting with some fun facts about the history of flower arranging and how the Romans scattered rose petals at all their dinners in the old days. We discuss choosing the right flowers, the different types of vases, how to artfully design your creation and care for them. No experience is needed!
You will design a beautiful vase arrangement! Each person will leave with one arrangement.

Our team at our San Mateo Studio will welcome you into our class and you're able to enjoy complimentary coffee/tea. We're also able to arrange private classes for 10+ people at our Studio space or at a location of your choice!

Current Floral Instructor in SF Bay Area: Francesca Zumbo
Francesca Zumbo, Floral Designer Instructor, began her career in Floral Design in 2016. She was the lead designer for Bell & Trunk in San Francisco then moved to NYC and freelanced for many well-known event companies including Lewis Miller, East Olivia, Angel Salazar and more. Every Spring she joins the Macy's Annual Flower Show crew in NYC. The traveling florist has designed the Rockefeller Center, the Knot Gala, Tiffany's, Mayor Bill de Blasio's home, Ivy Getty's wedding, music videos, editorial shoots, weddings, wineries and more. Since her recent return to San Francisco she has led a couple of renowned event companies and now is solely focused on teaching floral workshops and building her own business.

Your instructor can travel within 30 miles, a travel fee of $150 will be billed after the initial booking is paid. Please inquire if the location is farther.
