FLOW WITH MO
PRIMITIVE SURREALISM ART WORKSHOP
What is Primitive surrealism?
The primitive seemed to allow subconscious impulses to drive the creative process freely, greatly inspiring the Surrealists who began to explore the inner child and our surroundings.
What we do in the workshop?
When you arrive at the The Compound , your tutor Mo El-Kadey starts by encouraging you just to try out the pencils and paints in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. With everyone working at their own pace.
Mo El-Kadey will empower your inner talent, bringing it out with multi discipline techniques and music, as Mo call’s it your inner flow.
There is Three elements to the workshop:
One: Practical studio work:
By far the most important part - your own artwork. you will learn how to use all the tools surrounding you to create an artwork that will reflect your feelings
Two: All material you need to do your artwork are included.
Three: Continue next lessons on your work to be part of the final exhibition.
This class typically costs £30, but it’s part of our “Pay What You Can” scheme to make it accessible for everyone. We simply ask for honesty in what you choose to contribute.
