About this Event

Expressive Arts Heal: The Transformative World of Shalandrea Renee Houchen

Welcome to Flow N Hue, a space where art, movement, and mindfulness come together to create an immersive, healing experience. Led by Shalandrea Houchen, an expressive arts facilitator with a deep passion for art and wellness, this event invites you to explore the transformative power of self-expression through guided painting, live music, dynamic dance, and wellness activities.

What You Will Experience:

  • Art Therapy & Healing: Use painting, journaling, and other artistic mediums to express emotions that words cannot capture. This space offers a safe, non-judgmental environment where participants can process and release emotional pain, creating healing through creative expression.
  • Music & Dance for All: Music is a vital part of this experience. Together, we’ll explore how music impacts our lives and learn choreography that accommodates all levels. Whether you're an introvert or an extrovert, this workshop is a space where you can be—fully and freely—expressing yourself through rhythm and movement.
  • Stress Reduction & Relaxation: Engaging in creative activities like painting, movement, and music stimulates relaxation, lowering anxiety levels and promoting mental well-being. The act of creation naturally invites mindfulness and presence in the moment.
  • Empowerment Through Creativity: Build self-awareness and confidence as you create. Each art piece you make boosts your sense of accomplishment and helps you unlock your true potential, fostering personal resilience and emotional clarity.
  • Inclusive & Supportive Environment: This workshop is designed to support both introverts and extroverts, providing a space where all participants can express themselves authentically. It’s about being human—allowing you to fully experience the present moment and your creative journey.

Astrology Insight: For added depth in your journey of self-discovery, please take a brief astrology test before attending. If you’re unsure of your birth time, don’t worry—we can work with the details you do know.
