In this two-hour workshop, Melissa will invite the exploration of several foundational shapes, flowing through a variety of ways students can approach each shape. This workshop will incorporate a flow of various sun salutations to prepare the body to dive deeper into our expression of each shape. We will use blocks, the wall, straps, and aerial silks to support movement and discovery. Our shared practice will close with the opportunity for an extended Yoga Nidra using the aerial silks. Understanding how to approach various yoga shapes in multiple ways allows students to open up and broaden their yoga practice. Sign up early! Space is limited to 10 students.
