Floriography Series II- Workshop #1 with Samhita Kamisetty

This summer, we welcome visual artist and natural dyeing connoisseur Samhita Kamisetty (@sam.hit.a) to share her knowledge of bundle dyeing, a unique process that uses local flowers, spices, herbs and kitchen ingredients to create beautiful prints and patterns on silk.
Beginner-friendly and open to all, you’ll leave this workshop with a one-of-a-kind piece, the knowledge to recreate this sustainable technique at home, and a greater understanding of the science behind bundle dyeing.
This workshop will take place in two installments – July 20 and August 10. Tickets are now available for the second session. We look forward to seeing you!
Note, all necessary supplies—from dyestuffs to fabrics—are included in the ticket price. Light refreshments will also be provided.
