About this Event

Join us for a guided nature walk focused on the North American river otter—one of Florida’s most playful and fascinating mammals. Learn about otter behavior, habitat, and the important role they play in healthy freshwater ecosystems, while exploring the very natural areas where otters can be found.


DETAILS

FREE program, but reservations are required

This program will begin at 9:00am and last until approximately 11:00am

The length of this walk will be up to 2 miles on natural surfaces including dirt, sand and grass

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear

Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray

Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult

No pets

All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
