The City of Pembroke Pines will partner with Florida Humanities to present a quarterly lecture series inspired by monthly cultural celebrations, aiming to educate, engage, and spark meaningful dialogue within the local community.
Join us on Monday, November 3, 6-7pm at Commission Chambers to celebrate Native American Heritage Month with Seminole Portraits: Reflections Across Time. In this engaging lecture folklorist Dr. Annette B. Fromm focuses on portraiture over time to tell the rich history and continued vitality of the Florida Seminoles. This talk is free and open to the public, no registration needed. Recommended for ages 18+.
