About this Event
Looks like the weather is going to give us some cool relief. Lets take advantage of it and hike the Mullet Hole loop, part of the Crystal River Preserve State Park. We will hike along the edge of the water to Crystal River and then loop back to parking. There are roots on the first part of the hike, so you might want to bring your hiking stick. Although I don't recommend flip-flops, open secure sandals are fine. You might also want a hat and sunscreen.
I have scheduled this hike for 10 am for all you non-morning folks and since the weather will be cool. We can grab lunch after the hike from the Shrimp Landing Seafood truck. They're next to the water and known for their fresh seafood. The drive is appx. 10 miles.
Not really sure what is going on with Eventbrite's map option for directions. It was cutting off the city, state and zip code from the last hike and it looks like it is doing it again. See below for map links:

Emergencies are rare, but hikers should carry their own first aid kit and any medications they might need in an emergency.
Always bring water and a snack if you want. Be sure and wear comfortable shoes or hiking shoes if you have them. No flip flops.
