FLORIDA BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Florida's migratory birds rarely fail to leave an impression on the beholder. This is especially true during the winter dry months where they roam freely making for great photo opportunities.
Add deep blue skies, mixed with white puffy clouds and water making it the nature photographer's dream.
We will have great opportunities to photograph numerous birds, many times we will get close. Some days we will be driving and close to birds. Other days moderate walking will be involved.
Meeting Time
Everyone should be coming in early afternoon on Thursday the 29th of February. Our first “meet and greet” session, along with a primer on bird photography will take place Thursday evening. We will check out Friday morning.

Tentative Itinerary – Please note that the schedule is subject to change – any changes to the schedule will be emailed in advance to all workshop participants.
Thursday - Feb. 27th – Arrival and check-in. Meet & Greet, dinner with group, and go over schedule and photographing birds.
Friday – Day 1 - Feb. 28th
Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon.
We will break for lunch. Then head to Titusville FL and check in to our hotel. We will be staying near Cheney Hwy. and Hwy 95 Friday, Saturday & Sunday, checking out Monday morning. .
Saturday – Day 2 - March 1st
Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon. We will break for lunch.
Sunday – Day 3 - March 2nd
Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning and afternoon. We will break for lunch.
Monday – Day 4 - March 3rd
Field photography at one or more of the shooting locations in the morning.
Investment and How to Sign Up – Limited to 8
The workshop cost is $1495 per participant. This cost excludes flight, car reservation, lodging, food and other related costs. Workshop participants will be responsible for arranging their own flights, accommodations and ground transportation to and from the workshop location in Orlando, Florida.
Reservations/Payment
A deposit of $750 dollars is required to hold your spot on this workshop. Your final payment of the “balance due” for this workshop must be paid on or before Feb. 1st. 2025 prior to the workshop’s inception. We will send out reminder notices of your balance due a week before this mark.
Cancellation policy:
Deposits are refundable minus a $150 processing fee. The workshop fee is refundable until 60 days of the event. Within 60 days, the workshop fee is non-refundable unless the event sells out or you have purchased travel insurance.
Please note that the workshop fees are fully refundable minus processing fees until Feb. 1st 2025. We will not be able to provide a refund after this date due to planning and coordination issues. In the event of workshop cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, government closures, injury, death, etc.), collected workshop fees will be refunded (minus processing fees and permits acquired in advance).
Blair Ball Photography will not be held responsible for airfare and other potential expenses incurred due to workshop cancellation.
