In celebration of Florida Arbor Day, Pinellas County Urban Forestry is hosting a tree giveaway for Pinellas County residents! This event is a drive-thru tree pickup.First established in 1886, Florida Arbor Day promotes the planting of trees while recognizing the many benefits trees in our community provide.
A variety of tree species are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each household may receive up to two trees. Join Urban Forestry and Landscape Services at their campus to start the new year off green!
Trees available:
🌲Bald cypress (Taxodium distichum)
🌳 Dahoon holly (Ilex cassine)
🌲 S.FL. Slash pine (Pinus e. var. densa)
🌳 Simpsons stopper (Myrcianthes f.)
🌲 Southern red cedar (Juniperus silicicola)
🌳 Live oak (Quercus virginiana)
Trees will be in 3-gallon containers and will average 3 to 5 feet in height.
