Join Us for a Barn Quilt Painting Class in Florence, Alabama! Looking for a creative and rewarding way to spend the day? Come paint with us at Lauderdale County Extension Office in Florence! This one-day workshop is hosted by Alabama Barn Quilt Trail founder Regina Painter and her son, Jeremy, and is perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike.
Your quilt block will be completed in a single day—ready to display and enjoy for years to come.

What to Expect:Create a custom 2'x2' or 4'x4' barn quilt block on durable composite aluminum. Choose from over 20 striking patterns designed for one-day completion. Whether you're painting for your home, barn, porch, or garden, you’ll leave with something special and uniquely yours.
Jeremy and Regina will guide you step-by-step through the entire process—from pattern placement and taping to painting techniques and finishing touches.
All paints and materials are provided. Just bring an Exacto knife to trim your tape. We’ll supply blue painter’s tape, but feel free to bring Yellow Frog Tape if you prefer it for crisper lines.
Space is limited to 25 participants to ensure individual attention and plenty of workspace.
Important Information:Cost: $110 per person for a 2'x2' block, or $200 for a 4'x4' block (all materials included except Exacto knife and optional Yellow Frog Tape).
Dress Code: Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting paint on.
Lunch: Bring your own sack lunch and any snacks you’d like—lunch is not provided.
