I am excited to team up with Counselling & Co. & be a part of organizing Flora's walk, a cause that resonates deeply with me. Flora’s story is heart-wrenching—she tragically lost her life to suicide just two months after giving birth to her daughter, a victim of postpartum psychosis.Mental health holds a special place in my heart. I've been on my own healing journey for years, having experienced traumatic events that still impact my daily life. Over the last almost two years, I've been bringing my community together through group walks, finding solace in nature's healing power. These walks have become a space where we vulnerably share our lives, supporting and motivating each other. The impact has been profound, with many feeling less isolated and more connected to themselves and others.
I'm overjoyed to support this walk and its cause, aiming to raise awareness that mental health challenges are common and that together, we can make a difference. Together, we rise.
