Learn flower pressing on tile in this creative workshop!
In this workshop Monarch Beauty Farm teaches the foundations of flower and leaf pressing to capture vibrant and beautifully preserved botanicals.
In this hands-on class, participants will create their own Floralscapes using hand-pressed flowers, grown locally, using sustainable farming practices. We'll use 6x6" or 3x6 " reclaimed tiles, available in a variety of colors and sizes as a backdrop. You will take home a beautiful hanging botanical art piece you can display in your home or give as a gift to a loved one. All materials are included.
Workshop lasts approximately 90 minutes. No experience necessary. Grab a friend or join the workshop solo.
Maru Braemer of Monarch Beauty Farm has been growing flowers locally in Chicago for 3 years. Her urban gardens are a source of long-lasting, and sustainable florals for local residents, as well as a home for local and migrant pollinators.
