This one-day workshop will give you a firm grounding in the techniques for using pastels in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
You will learn pastel painting techniques to create a fresh, quick, loose, bold and expressive pastel painting.
You’ll delve into essential techniques focusing on composition, tonal values and colour. All skill levels are welcome.
Please bring your lunch and water bottle.
Materials List-
You have the option to bring your own materials or you can have materials provided . See below on what materials to bring if choosing to bring your own.
Soft or hard pastels (any brand)
1–2 sheets of pastel paper (black preferred)

Elena Churilova is an award-winning artist and educator working with oils, pastels and watercolours. Her work is intuitive and inspired. Elena paints in a style which combines reality and fantasy. Her works reside in private collections in Europe, Australia, USA and Russia.
