About this Event
Join us for a hands-on, community-focused workshop centred on mindful making. This experience is for everyone! Come solo, with a friend, a partner, or someone you love in any way.
Guests will be guided through creating a hand-tied Valentine’s bouquet, then take part in a symbiotic, low-waste process where fallen petals from the flowers are pressed and used to naturally dye a silk scarf. Nothing is wasted, each element feeds into the next, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind piece.
What you’ll experience:
- Guided bouquet-making with Sydney from FLOWER HOUSE
- An introduction to natural dyeing with Julie from hijulez
- A collaborative, relaxed environment with no prior experience needed
- Time to explore a curated selection of hijulez pieces available to shop
What you’ll leave with:
- A handmade seasonal bouquet
- A naturally dyed silk scarf created by you
- New creative skills and techniques you can use again
Location: 3732 Ontario Street Vancouver, V5V 3G2
Date: February 12th
