Rumriver Art Center Presents a New Art Gallery Show Opening in the Jan Johansen Gallery.NOTE: SCHEDULE CHANGE. Due to the Winter Weather Watch on Feb 8th, the Floral Art Show Opening has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb 15th from 2pm-4pm.
Anoka, MN - The Jan Johansen Gallery of Rumriver Art Center is excited to present our winter call for entry exhibition: Floral Art. On Saturday, February 8th from 2 pm - 4 pm the Jan Johansen Gallery will be hosting an opening reception for the show. This is a free event and anyone is welcome to attend.
This show celebrates the beauty, diversity, and symbolism of flowers in visual art. A variety of mediums and artistic expressions are on display to convey the enchanting world of florals; such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. The featured artworks explore many aspects of florals—whether it’s a close-up study of a single bloom, an abstract interpretation, or an exploration of flowers in cultural, environmental, or emotional contexts.
This exhibition will be on display in our Jan Johansen Gallery from February 8th to March 1st 2025.
