Best described as "boppy trans rock n' roll," their melding of indie rock and pop punk aligns itself with the versatile queercore sub-genre, specifically the more infectious and anthemic area occupied by acts like '90s trailblazers Pansy Division. In 2023, the group released a trio of demo recordings -- "Northbound Train," "Kiss Your Friends, and "I Wanna" -- that showcase an irresistible blend full of buoyant melodies and energetic rhythms, which instantly win over anybody within earshot. Made-up of keyboardist Valerie Jemison, bassist Leeah Swift, drummer Alex Almand, and guitarist/vocalist Flora Dapena, the band radiates promise, already injecting a fresh energy into the bustling local music scene with their dynamic presence. And with this upcoming special performance, they're set to showcase their vibrant sound in full force.
