Dive into the sensual, grounded, and powerful world of belly dance floorwork. This workshop guides dancers through the essential techniques, transitions, and shapes that bring confidence and grace to dancing on the floor.We’ll explore safe and fluid ways to descend and rise, strengthen the core and back muscles needed for support, and practice classic floorwork movements such as body waves, hip circles, dramatic poses, and traveling patterns. Focus will be placed on body awareness, conditioning, and elegant lines, allowing dancers to embody strength and softness simultaneously.
Whether you’re new to floorwork or looking to refine your technique, this session offers a supportive space to expand your movement vocabulary and add beautiful, expressive layers to your dance.
All levels welcome. Knee pads recommended.
